Special report summarizes recent advancements, achievements, honors
The FAZD Center has issued a new special report that reviews recent product advancement, organizational achievements and individual honors within the Center
Included are summaries about:
• A new project to prioritize critical food and agriculture assets at the state level, in conjunction with the National Center for Food Protection and Defense (NCFPD)
• An expression of interest by a major pharmaceutical company in potential for a commercial vaccine for Rift Valley fever.
• Funding for a FAZD Center/NCFPD study of various models used for risk assessment, and their potential application to foreign animal and zoonotic diseases.
• Honors and internships received by the FAZD Center’s students.
