Assistant director discusses products, programs on radio show
The Jan. 15 edition of the public radio show “Homeland Security: Inside & Out” featured an interview with Dr. Thomas F. Powdrill, the FAZD Center’s assistant director for external affairs.
During the six-minute interview, Powdrill discussed the center’s Biological Systems products as well as its education programs.
Now entering its third year, the radio show has broadcast interviews with DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff; Under Secretary Jay M. Cohen of the Science and Technology Directorate; Dr. Neville P. Clarke, director of the FAZD Center, and the directors of the other Centers of Excellence.
The program’s online archives feature interviews with key leaders in the federal, state and local goverment, plus senior leaders in the private sector, academic community and national press.
