The episode's third segment -- which deals with high-level biosecurity -- includes interviews with Dr. C.J. Peters, a FAZD Center principal investigator from the University of Texas Medical Branch. "State of Tomorrow" aired on PBS stations in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, El Paso, College Station and 10 other Texas urban markets. It won five Lone Star Emmys.
