The FAZD Center has established this web portal to provide its stakeholders with a central access point to official, online information about rapid developments concerning the international outbreak of H1N1 influenza (also referred to as "swine flu"). The ongoing outbreak of H1N1 is of great concern to the Department of Homeland Security and to the FAZD Center, as it poses a significant threat to U.S. human health -- and perhaps to the livestock economy. The portal will remain active for the duration of the outbreak.
