Rance LeFebvreDr. Rance B. LeFebvre, University of California at Davis, Professor, School of Veterinary Medicine. Research interests include Biotechnology Immunology Infectious Disease (Bovine, Ruminant); spirochetal diseases such as Lyme borreliosis, relapsing fever, and leptospirosis; molecular and immmunologic methods are being utilized to unlock the control and expression of virulence factors and immune modulators of these bacteria.

Christian SandrockDr. Christian Sandrock, a physician and an expert in infectious diseases, and pulmonary and critical care medicine at the UC Davis Medical Center, specializes in disaster preparedness, emerging infectious diseases, terrorism and other threats to public health.

 

Cheryl ScottDr. Cheryl A Scott, University of California, Davis, Program Director, Office of Student Programs, School of Veterinary Medicine. The program’s goals are to encourage students with different ethnic, educational, regional (rural/urban) and socioeconomic backgrounds to consider veterinary medicine as a career and explore the many options within the field.

Roland SmithDr. Roland Smith, Texas A&M University, Texas AgriLife Extension.  Associate Department Head and State Extension Program Leader for Agricultural Economics.  Provides leadership for homeland security education within Texas Cooperative Extension and externally with stakeholders at various levels in federal, state and local government.

Andy VestalDr. Andy Vestal, Texas A&M University, Texas AgriLife Extension.  Professor and Extension specialist for Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Emergency Management.  He provides leadership for homeland security education within Texas Cooperative Extension and externally with stakeholders at various levels in federal, state and local government.

 

Gale WagnerDr. Gale Wagner, Texas A&M University.  Professor of Veterinary Pathobiology and the Coordinator of International Program for the College of Veterinary Medicine.  Research focus is in veterinary education in emerging diseases, veterinary economics and veterinary public health and food safety.

 

Scott WellsDr. Scott J. Wells, University of Minnesota, Associate Professor, College of Veterinary Medicine. Research interests in epidemiologic studies related to the control of manure-cycle pathogens in dairy cattle and other food-producing animals, and sse of analytic epidemiologic techniques to evaluate management factors associated with economically important disease conditions in livestock.
